1. Information We Collect
PreviewBox is designed as a stateless ephemeral hosting service. We minimize data collection to the following:
- Account Data: API tokens and associated identifiers required to manage your deployments.
- Deployment Data: Static files uploaded via the CLI tool for the purpose of temporary hosting.
- Technical Logs: Minimal server logs required for security and performance monitoring, purged regularly.
2. How We Use Data
Your data is used exclusively to facilitate the preview of static assets. We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer your information to outside parties for marketing or tracking purposes.
3. Data Retention
All hosted directories are subject to a strict 7-day retention policy. After 168 hours, files are automatically purged from our storage systems and edge cache. Users may manually delete previews at any time using the CLI.
4. Security
We implement industry-standard encryption for data in transit (TLS) and at rest. Access to storage buckets is restricted to the PreviewBox application layer.
