When you use PreviewBox tunnels, we process HTTP requests that pass through our servers. We log request metadata (method, path, status code, duration) for analytics purposes. We do not store request or response bodies.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To provide and maintain the PreviewBox service
• To authenticate your identity and secure your account
• To provide analytics about your tunnel usage
• To communicate with you about service updates
• To detect and prevent abuse or unauthorized access

3. Data Storage

Your account data is stored securely in MongoDB Atlas. Tunnel data (subdomain, port, status) is stored to manage your tunnels. Request logs are retained for 24 hours and then automatically deleted.

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or share your personal information with third parties. We may share anonymized, aggregated data for analytics purposes. We may disclose information if required by law.

5. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures including encryption in transit (TLS), secure password hashing (bcrypt), and regular security audits. However, no method of electronic transmission is 100% secure.

6. Your Rights

You can access, update, or delete your account at any time through the dashboard or CLI. You can export all your data using the prevbox export command. Account deletion is permanent and removes all associated data.

7. Cookies

We use only essential cookies required for authentication. We do not use tracking cookies or third-party analytics.

8. Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via email or through the service.
